April 11, 1946 - March 4, 2021

 Mr. Dettmer was many things to many people including husband, father, papa, grandpa, brother, friend, neighbor, teacher, co-worker, photographer and one of the biggest supporters of Festus High School Students. He touched many lives as a math teacher for over 35 years and into retirement through his passion of taking photos of student athletes. To have known him is to have known a kind heart, a bright smile and a great example for Festus students. He will be missed.
